Stone Museum of Geology aims to promote awareness of the Earth Sciences through static and interactive displays that combine education and fun for people of all ages.
This has been our guiding principle ever since.
In part, our inspiration came from the preface to Dr Gideon Mantell's Book Thoughts on a Pebble, published in 1849, where he says:
