On the first floor of the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent this indoor soft play centre is jungle themed with animatronic dinosaurs. The diniosaur models themselves are impressive and each has a good information board with background to the animal.

For younger children the Discovery Cove has an area where fossils can be discovered by excavating sand, the building a dinosaur skeleton from foam bones and colouring/drawing materials where dinosaurs can be drawn and then scanned so they appear on an animated television screen backdrop.

Even the Toilets have a dinosaur theme!

For children three years of age and under there is a separate facility opposite the entrance to John Lewis. Predominently a soft-play area with tables and seating for adults, "Kiddie Carts" are also available for hire that children can ride in around Bluewater. There is a gift shop that also sells snacks but no hot drinks I'm afraid.

There is a small coffee shop/cafe within Dinotropolis plus free lockers for your coats, bags, shoes etc. (a £1 is needed to activate the lock but this is returned to you).

KNOCKHATCH ADVENTURE PARK, SUSSEX - APRIL 2019

Just off the A22 Hailsham By-Pass in Sussex (for Satnav the postcode is BN27 3GD) this attraction has two geologically themed areas likely to attract children. The first, a dinosaur themed indoor play barn with Animatronic dinosaurs and the second an opportunity to sluice for rocks or fossils.

The "Knockhatch Mining Company" provides a gold panning area where bags of "dirt" (which can be purchased in the Gift Shop or nearby Golf Shack) can be sluiced clean to reveal rocks or fossils.
